More about us
Here at What The Fluff Pet Spa, we treat your beloved furry friends like family. Established in June 2024 and officially opening our doors by July, What The Fluff Pet Spa is proudly owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Micky and Andrew.
We’re passionate about providing high-quality grooming in a warm, calm and caring environment, with the goal of having every pet leave looking fabulous and feeling loved. As a one-on-one grooming salon, we care for one pet at a time, from start to finish. This allows us to give each dog our undivided attention while creating a quieter, distraction-free environment where your pets comfort and wellbeing always come first.
Meet The Team

Andrew
"A Man of Many Words"
Andrew is known for striking up a friendly conversation with everyone he meets. While he has a particular knack for grooming the big dogs, Andrew's life experiences have given him a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities.
Andrew is also the backbone of What The Fluff Pet Spa, working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. From the practical jobs to the finer details of running a small business, he’s the quiet force that keeps What The Fluff ticking along — although, as our clients know, he’s rarely actually quiet!

Micky
"The Dog Groomer"
The Face of What The Fluff Pet Spa. With many years of local experience in pet care, grooming and Doggy Dentals, Micky is the heart and soul of our small business. She may be small in stature, but she’s full of kindness, and is known for her calm, thoughtful approach and genuine care for every dog that comes through the door.
Having been part of the local dog grooming industry since the age of 16, Micky has fostered strong relationships with fellow groomers throughout the district, building a supportive professional network founded on friendship, mutual respect and a shared love of the industry.
Micky is usually instantly recognisable — unless, of course, you know her sister, Beth The Mobile Groomer. In that case, you may be forgiven for thinking you’ve been seeing double!
